Elizabeth Warren

MA, LPC–Intern

Elizabeth’s deep level of commitment to helping people resolve spiritual, relational, and behavioral issues is foundational to her integrative counseling approach. She uses honesty, warmth, and humor to help clients discover awareness, truth, and change. Elizabeth works with individuals ages 13+ who are experiencing challenges involving anger, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, spiritual well–being, and trauma.

An additional area of emphasis is her work with Pre–Marital and Married couples. She utilizes Gottman Methods Couples Therapy to resolve issues, manage conflict, and ultimately deepen intimacy and strengthen relationships. As a Certified Prepare/Enrich Couples Facilitator, Elizabeth leads workshops designed to provide premarital counseling and education for small groups as well as individual couples.

It is Elizabeth’s belief that therapy may involve partnering with others, thus on behalf of the client she is comfortable inviting family and other individuals into the therapy session as a means of providing distinctly personalized treatment and support.

Elizabeth considers it an honor to help individuals through life challenges and offers her clients a compassionate, non–judgmental, and safe environment in which to collaborate in pursuit of the client’s goals toward overall wellness. Elizabeth graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling degree and is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor–Intern under the supervision of Julie Summers, M.A. LPC–S.
