Sarah Jane is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She also completed an internship at Focus on the Family Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. Upon graduation from DBU, Sarah Jane worked as a therapist for the Meier Clinics Day Hospital Program in Richardson, TX. She provided individual and group therapy to patients dealing with a wide range of diagnoses.
Sarah Jane takes a cognitive–behavioral and systematic approach to treating adults, adolescents, families, and couples. Her primary goal in therapy is to help the client feel safe. This connection and safety enables the client to be truly authentic and to make progress more quickly. Sarah Jane is a huge believer in addressing the whole person– mind, body, and spirit. Her primary experience is with severe depression/anxiety, ADHD, disordered eating, identity issues, sexual abuse, trauma, and life transitions (High School to College, College to Working Professional, Career Change, etc). Sarah Jane delights in the opportunity to walk alongside others and experience firsthand the process of their restoration.
