Taylor graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Upon graduating from Texas A&M Taylor served for a year as an intern in cross–cultural ministry. Once completing her internship she moved to Colorado to pursue a degree in counseling. Taylor holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary in Littleton, Colorado.
Taylor’s experience in and out of the counseling office has lead her to enjoy working with children, adolescents, parents, and young adults. She especially finds fulfillment in working with those that seek to integrate their faith into the counseling process. Taylor believes that the relationship between client and counselor is vital to the client’s therapeutic progress and she strives to create a warm, empathic, and honest relationship. Her areas of interest include ADHD, anxiety, boundaries, relationships, identity issues, life transitions, women’s issues, parenting and trauma. In addition to talk therapy Taylor is fully trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She approaches counseling with the whole person in mind; treating mind, body, and spirit. Taylor finds it a great honor to be let into other people’s lives and witness their achievement in finding freedom and purpose.
